GARDENING AND LANDSCAPING

An incredibly important aspect of the renovations is gardening and landscaping in a way that is suitable for the cats. To achieve that we plan to upgrade our irrigation system, plant many shade trees to provide more shade for the cats in hot summer months and some cover from the winds in winter, and maintain existing trees and plants. In August 2018 we planted the first tree which we hope will grow quickly and provide shade for the cats and visitors alike! Since then and over the first year of renovations at the sanctuary we have planted many more trees, many rosemary bushes, lemongrass plants that are big favorites with the cats, and many more shrubs and flowers.
